CHAC is currently funded through a combination of charitable donations, grants and service contracts, although this does not meet the full annual cost of running the centre.
We have received funding from Canterbury City Council through a partnership with Canterbury Citizens Advice; Access to Justice Foundation (Community Justice Fund); The Austen Trust; Charities Aid Foundation (CAF Coronavirus Emergency Fund); Garfield Weston Foundation; Kent Community Foundation (Resilience Grant); Lawson Endowment for Kent; London Legal Support Trust; National Lottery Community Fund; Postcode Neighbourhood Trust; and Whitehead Monckton Charitable Foundation.
